Morellino Scansano is an excellent Italian red wine from Tuscany which is a famous wine region of Italy.
The grapes for producing Morellino di Scansano wine are grown in the province of Grosseto, Tuscany.
The particular growing area in Tuscany for Morellino production is called Maremma, which has a perfect Mediterranean climate for growing grapes. Maremma, Tuscany is covered by the sea breezes and gets plenty of rain all year round.
