Abetone Snow Resort

Abetone is, indeed, one of the most important ski resorts on the north of Tuscany (Pistoia) which is famous in whole Italy by large number and variety of ski trails, good ski lifts and comfortable hotels. The town of Abetone is beautifully surrounded by pine forests which makes it particularly special during Christmas holidays.

Total length of ski trails in Abetone is 50 km which consists of 30 different trails and 22 lifts. Many trails are used also for walking tour itineraries or for hiking to the top of the Appenine mountains. Other things to do in Abetone in the winter are horse-riding on snow, mountain climbing and snowmobiling.

Abetone has joined nearby winter resorts of Corno alle Scale and di Cimone to introduce a single ticket for using all the ski runs - Grande Neve.

Mount Amiata Resort

Mount Amiata (Monte Amiata) skiing offer not less adventures than the one in Abetone. Amiata ski resort along with regular snow skiing offers as well organized trips in the forest with snowshoes and cross-country skis. These services are available when you acquire Skipass Amiata.

Mount Amiata skiing facilities include in total 12 km of ski trails and 8 lifts. The resort also supports artificial snow system. This ski Tuscany station territory is well equipped with the line of hotels, ski schools and a baby park.

Garfagnana Resort

Among others, should not be forgotten the Tuscany ski resort of Garfagnana in the province of Lucca. Gargagnana valley lays between Italian mountains ranges - the Apennines and the Apuan Alps.

Neraby villages of Garfagnana is where you will find three good skiing stations - Careggine, Casone di Profecchia and Passo delle Radici.

Garfagnana adventures include total of 15 km of ski trails, 30 km of cross-country skis, 7 lifts and artificial snow system.

Lunigiana - Zum Zeri

Smaller resort area of Lunigiana will welcome you at its snow resort Zum Zeri equipped with 5 km of ski trails, 3 lifts and a snow park.

The highest peak of Lunigiana mountains is one the Italian ski areas having the most breathtaking views. You see snow white mountain reflection in blue sea waters and that's an amazing sensational experience!
