A charming town nestling in the Elsa countryside.

Of Longobard origin, it was probably very important due to its size and strategic position on the border between Siena and Florence territory.

In 1300 the castle was razed to the ground and those fort houses which still characterise it today were built on the ruins.

The hotel has 10 double rooms and 1 single room,all furnished in traditional Tuscany style. The hotel restaurant offers a generous choice of traditional, local dishes, accompanied with wines from our selected wine cellar.
